Midnight Walk 2010 - What a night!
The moment we had all been waiting for finally arrived when the clock struck midnight on Saturday 5th June when 2,000 ladies started their walk through Colchester in aid of St Helena Hospice.
Thank you to everyone that came along to the Midnight Walk – you all played a really important part in making the night such a special and memorable experience.
We were so pleased to welcome you all along and hope you had a fantastic time. Thank you for all the lovely comments which have been flooding in. We really appreciate your feedback and it sounds like you had as much fun as we did!

A big thank you as well to all our wonderful volunteers for your help and support. Your enthusiasm and encouragement of all the ladies and of the event generally was really appreciated and made the night a true success. The atmosphere on the night really was amazing and the spirit amongst all the walkers, volunteers and supporters wasn’t even dampened by the rain which descended in the second half of the event.
We are delighted to announce that we had £156,000 pledged in sponsorship money on the night and every penny of this will be used to support the work of St Helena Hospice. Well done to everyone for taking part and helping to raise an incredible amount of money.
