Conference Facilities Colchester

The conference centre based at St Helena Hospice is a self contained, purpose built facility to meet the needs of all types of conferences and meetings.

Rooms are available for hire during the day or evening Monday to Friday and a dedicated conference and events team will always be on hand to help with your every need and to welcome and look after your delegates.

The conference centre benefits from its own separate entrance and parking area and is very accessible from the A12 and only a 10 minute taxi drive or bus ride from Colchester town centre and main train station.

The venue offers a range of rooms that have been designed with flexibility and comfort in mind. All rooms have air conditioning and plenty of natural daylight creating the perfect environment for meetings and teaching. Rooms are available for hire separately or if required the full venue can be booked for exclusive use.

The Beeches Suite is the largest conference space, designed to accommodate 70 delegates in theatre style. The suite can be divided into 2 rooms if required and has views that overlook beautiful gardens.

 

 

Outside The Beeches Suite is a wonderful light and comfortable break out space. This area is called The Coppice and can be used for small break out groups and also to serve lunch and refreshments.

Layouts of the rooms can be seen in the following capacity chart but additional layouts can be arranged and additional furniture or equipment sourced and hired to create the perfect meeting space for your requirements.

Audio Visual
Our state of the art Chestnut seminar room offers delegates both videoconferencing facilities and the use of an Interactive white board. These facilities can be booked in advance but are in high demand so should be requested as early as possible.

Laptops, projectors, video conferencing and Interactive screen are also available for hire. TV, DVD, OHP and flip charts with paper and pens, as well as wall mounted track systems with paper hanging facilities are provided in all meeting rooms.

Business centre facilities are offered via our reception desk for you and any of your delegates to use. Services include: use of fax, photocopier, email and telephone. In addition we can also receive deliveries in advance of your meeting and store them ready for your arrival. The team are there to ensure your meeting is a success so if you need anything, please just ask!

Food and Beverages
We offer a wide range of hot and cold buffets and our catering team are happy to work with you to make sure the perfect menu selection is made. All food is home cooked, made on site and beautifully presented.

Our conference manager will be happy to discuss any dietary requirements you or your delegates may have and will ensure the success of the catering at your event.

Tea, coffee, biscuits and tempting home made cakes and scones are always available. A range of soft drinks and wine can be made available if requested in advance.

Water and mints will be supplied throughout your meeting.
