Our nurses our an integral part of the fabric of Hospice life. St Helena Hospice employs 56 permanent nurses and 24 bank nurses within our Inpatient unit, two Day Centres and out in the community, and the Hospice simply could not run without our fantastic nurses.

We are also lucky to have a team of volunteers that help our nursing team care for patients and families, and who come in throughout the day and night to sit and talk with patients. Our nurses work a variety of shift patterns, including nights.
