St.Helena Hospice Education Centre in Colchester is a validated
Outcentre of Anglia Ruskin University. This co-operation
in palliative care education between The University and
The Hospice has been in operation for almost a decade now.
The current purpose built Education Centre at the Hospice
- with specialist staff, excellent facilities and an important
palliative care library - was opened in October 1995. Because
the Education Centre is located at the heart of palliative
care practice, our program and modules benefit from the
expertise of both academic staff and members of our multi-disciplinary
specialist care team. All the elements are in place here
for education to be a stimulating and valuable experience.
