Wills Month, now in its 5th year, is running from the 1st to the 30th June 2017.
Every year, a number of local solicitors from across north east Essex generously offer Will writing appointments waiving their normal fee and instead ask for a donation to St Helena Hospice.
We ask that to have your Will written you make a suggested donation of just £90 for a single Will or £150 for a double/mirror Will.
Last year, we raised over £12,000 from people like you taking part in our Wills Month. This is really amazing and an achievement we'd love to repeat, if not better, this year.
Sue D'Anna used the Wills Month scheme in 2016 and said: "For me, Wills Month gave me the chance to get my affairs in order, whilst knowing that I was also supporting a charity that was close to my heart."
This year we have seven solicitors from across Colchester and Tendring participating in the scheme and supporting St Helena Hospice. Our solicitors are:
Alistair Keeble / Birkett Long / Fisher Jones Greenwood / Good Burrett / John Fowlers / Powis and Co. / Sparlings
To take part, you simply book an appointment directly with your chosen solicitor. Appointments will be available to book from mid-May and more information will be available here shortly.
Wills are not only important to us, but they are important to the individual writing one too. They ensure affairs are in order, final wishes are met and loved ones are looked after in the future. Many people choose to show their support for St Helena Hospice in their Will. A gift doesn't have to be big to have a big impact on the local people we help.
You can find more information about leaving a gift in your Will to St Helena Hospice here.
