Salsa success for Hospice

29 October 2009

A night of salsa dancing raised £1,738 for work carried out by St Helena Hospice, Colchester.

The event at The Assembly Rooms in Dedham, was organised to raise money for the Sally Noyes Fund in aid of St Helena Hospice.

About 100 people enjoyed an hour of salsa tuition and then had the chance to show what they had learned - to the sounds of an 11-piece band.

Hospice fundraising director Chris Hill paid tribute to the organisers and those who took part in the “wonderful night.”
