St Helena Hospice Christmas Bazaar

Panto stars from this years Mercury Theatre Company smash hit panto Cinderella have once again agreed to come along to the St Helena Hospice Christmas Bazaar and will be opening the doors for all the shoppers at 12.30pm on Friday 13th November. Ella (alias Elizabeth Brown) and Buttons (alias Dale Superville) will be outside the United Reformed Church from 12.15 noon to chat to shoppers.
The 2 day Hospice Bazaar event takes place each year at the United Reformed Church in Colchester town centre and last year raised an incredible £10,000 for the Hospice. The Bazaar which this year will take place on Friday 13th November from 12.30 – 3.30 and Saturday 14th November from 9.30-3.00 offers shoppers a chance to buy jewellery, cosmetics, Christmas cards and decorations, clothes, toys and much much more. People also have the chance to meet Father Christmas and have a go at winning one of the many great raffle prizes.
Organiser Mike Hurst said: “The St Helena Hospice Christmas Bazaar is always a wonderful success and we are so grateful to the Panto stars and the Mercury Theatre for coming along and supporting us again this year. I want to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers that have worked so hard leading up to the Bazaar and I am sure it will be a great couple of days.”
