This year saw 14 St Helena Hospice runners join over 450 Help the Hospices runners and an estimated 1300 local hospice runners at the 25 th Anniversary Flora London Marathon on Sunday 17 th April.
The day was a great success with a record crowd of up to 750,000 spectators lining the streets and a further 6 million people watching the race on television.
One of our long-standing runners and fundraisers, Kevin Davies, was interviewed whilst running by Colin Jackson live on BBC1.
On behalf of everyone at St Helena Hospice; patients, families, staff and volunteers, a big thank you to all our marathon runners. We are extremely grateful for the support and dedication they have put in from start to finish!
