St Helena Hospice is a highly respected community based hospice charity, working to support local people who are in need of specialist palliative care in north east Essex and the Colne Valley area of mid-Essex. We offer a wide range of vital hospice services to our patients and their families.

The St Helena Hospice team consists of over 300 employees, both full and part-time, and is supported by more than 1200 volunteers. Our hospice volunteers contribute invaluable time, offer a wide breadth of skills and come from all walks of life. Most volunteer roles at St Helena Hospice can be flexible depending on the role you choose and your availability. Certain patient facing and retail rotas can require morning, afternoon, evening or weekends. Even if you think you can only offer 3 hours a year we are sure to find something for you.
