St Helena Hospice is a highly respected community based hospice charity, working to support local people who are in need of specialist palliative care in North East Essex and the Colne Valley area of mid-Essex. We offer a wide range of vital hospice services to our patients and their families.
The St Helena Hospice team consists of over 200 employees, both full and part-time, and is supported by more than 700 volunteers. Our hospice volunteers contribute invaluable time, offer a wide breadth of skills and come from all walks of life. Most volunteer jobs at St Helena Hospice usually involve a morning, afternoon or evening duty, although there are some exceptions offering greater flexibility. You can apply to carry out volunteer work on a weekly, fortnightly or one week in four basis; depending on the time you can afford to give.
